Start your step into digital pathology today.
SOLUTIONS
ARGOS 6X
With the 6X, ARGOS is the first manufacturer globally to combine the robot’s autonomous method of operation with the efficiency of 6 scanner units, each with 3 objectives, in one device.
The result: Unmatched flexibility in handling microscope slides, from scanning in different resolutions to location-independent diagnosis and fully automatic microscope slide archiving.

High-Resolution Imaging
Capture every detail with our advanced imaging technology, providing crystal-clear results for accurate analysis.
User-Friendly Interface
Navigate with ease using our intuitive software, designed to streamline your workflow and reduce training time.
Scalable Solutions
Whether you need to scan a few slides or thousands, the ARGOS 6X adapts to your lab’s needs with scalable options.
6 Premium Scanners
The six Premium Scanners, in conjunction with the Robot Arm, are the core of our system. Operating simultaneously and independently, they maximize throughput and flexibility. Utilizing optical components of the highest quality from renowned manufacturers, we ensure images in excellent quality.
Robot Arm
We offer full automation through our Robot Arm. It seamlessly combines flexibility and precision. Serving as the crucial link between initial slide scanning and Auto-Archiving, the Robot Arm showcases our commitment to workflow optimization.
Slide Hotel
The Slide Hotel is the interim storage and waiting position for slides that have already been scanned and are waiting to be rescanned, on demand of the pathologist, or finally filed in the Auto-Archiving system. With 3,000 positions, the Slide Hotel offers ample capacity in the diagnostics process.
Rescan
When diagnosing a slide, a Pathologist can annotate a specific area for Rescan at a 40X resolution. A scanned slide is requested from the Slide Hotel and transported to the scanning unit. This process provides the Pathologist with full case management control.
Auto-Archiving
Once the Pathologist closes a patient’s case, the Robot Arm promptly transports the corresponding slides from the Slide Hotel to the archiving system. The archiving location is automatically recorded guaranteeing traceability. Swift retrieval of archived slides minimizes personnel cost.
STAT Scan
The STAT Scan feature enables prioritization of urgent cases during operation of the ARGOS scanner. Slides are added through an additional input slot and the Robot Arm immediately transports them the next available scanning unit.
Third-party scans
The ARGOS 6X can operate at full capacity by accepting slides from third-party laboratories. Scanned slides can be made available to the external customer promptly.
Remote Working
The remote working option enables location-independent access to scans and device parameters. This allows diagnostics to be carried out remotely and enables a new, personnel-optimized workflow.
easyCONFIG – we meet your needs
The ARGOS 6X is the most flexible system that meets your requirements, i.e. we can configure it with 3, 4, 5 or 6 scanners and are therefore scalable depending on the volume of slides in the laboratory.
As standard, we configure the system with 5 scanners with 20x resolution and one scanner with 40x resolution.
If you need fewer scanners or only a certain number in 20x or 40x resolution, we can provide you with a customized solution.
The configuration can also be redesigned at a later date if requirements change.
These options make the ARGOS 6X a future-proof investment for optimum processes.
INTRODUCING KUKA
ARGOS relies on the experience and expertise of the German robotics company KUKA to safely transport added slides in the ARGOS 6X.

ARGOS Single Scanner
The ARGOS scanner – every single one is a genius.
Of course, we also offer our ARGOS multi-objective scanners as a stand-alone solution for manual use for lower scan volumes or targeted start-up digitization.
The advantage of choosing one or more individual ARGOS scanners is that they can later be easily integrated into our 6X multi-scanner unit.

ARGOS Viewer
Analysis & scanning software that is addictive!
The ARGOS VIEWER offers a perfect image reproduction for the analysis of digitized tissue and allows professional diagnosis with several practical features. The big advantage is the unique RESCAN feature integrated into our ARGOS 6X! This gives the pathologist the option of rescanning entire microscope slides, or just annotated areas of interest, at the same or a higher resolution at any time and without manual interference.
• Manage / rotate / zoom in / zoom out / measure the tissue
• Create screenshots, format, save and send
• Perform AI analyses*
• LIVE scan feature
*ARGOS uses modules of other software manufacturers after consulting with the users and integrates them into its viewer
ARGOS Pointer
Feel-good image control module
With the ARGOS Pointer, we provide the user with a state-of-the-art one-hand image control module for fatigue-free working. The device is modeled on the controls of classic microscopes, is suitable for right and left-handed users and makes it easier for pathologists to switch to digital work. The control wheels simulate the fine/coarse drive on the microscope and allow images to be zoomed, rotated and maneuvered.
Function keys are incorporated into the base, which can be assigned commands for accelerated operation as required by the user via the ARGOS VIEWER software and changed at any time. These include, for example
– next scan
– Display measurement scale
– Point to point measurement
– LIVE scan
– and much more.
Input is direct and without time delay. This enables precise handling of the image material in real time, even over a longer period of time.
ARGOS Archivist
Microscope slide archiving 2.0 – an end to transposed numbers and overtime…
We have sufficiently addressed the issue of microscope slide archiving during the design of our 6X. We have therefore slipped the results into the development of an automatic microscope slide archiving system. The result is the ARGOS Archivist – a compact and robust sorting system, easy to operate, extremely efficient, and low maintenance. The device is designed so that the user places the microscope slides in any order in a holding tray.
The device detects the microscope slides to be deposited and pulls them over a fixture under a camera. There, the barcode of each microscope slide is recorded, and the storage position in the box is saved. A display shows the level or the number of free spaces left in the box and reports a necessary box change.
Software can be used to determine and display the storage position of individual microscope slides at any time.
It's all about efficiency
We believe that digitalization in the laboratory is an important step for everyone involved. Increasing requirements and case numbers demand a faster workflow and more reliable handling.
This means: Increased efficiency of the pathologists
